Let me use an opportunity to present and to invite for cooperation with Saranskkabel-Optika, LTD. The company was founded in 1998 on the base of one of the greatest cable producing enterprises in Russia - JSC «Saranskkabel». Now Saranskkabel-Optika, LTD is one of the leading companies among Russian producers of fiber-optic and LAN cables. The technological possibilities of the company allow our producing different types of fiber-optic cables for all types of installation. We produce FOC (fiber-optic cables) of the following types:

-OKG – armorless cable for indoor installation and also for installation into PE pipes by the blowing method.
- OKB – armored by galvanized steel wires and used as direct buried underground installation, for installation in blocks and collectors and also through swamps and water junctions.
- OKL – armored by corrugated steel tape, rodent resistant. The cable is installed in pipes, blocks and collectors.
- OKK – all dielectric cable for aerial installation, for suspension on transmission lines, contact networks of railways, armored by self-supporting aramid yarns (ADSS)
- OKT – figure-8 aerial cable used for suspension on transmission lines and buildings’ walls.
- OKP – all dielectric armored by glass reinforced plastic GRP rods.
- OKGT – fiber-optic cable incorporated into ground wire (OPGW).

The equipment of Nextrom and Caballe, high-quality materials, very strict step-by-step quality and technology control allow to produce up-to-date fiber-optic cable, meeting the specification requests. We use only experience-proved materials generally recognized by international market, working with: Corning (USA), Fujikura (Japan), OFS (USA), Hitachi Cable (Japan), Sumitomo (Japan), Draka Comteq (Netherlands), DuPont, Condor Conpaunds (Germany), Borealis Polymers (Denmark), DSM Desotech (Netherlands), PolyOne (USA), IPT (Slovakia), Cousin Composites (France).
The quality management system was tested and certified according to Russian standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001.

The new and perspective activity for Russia is production of OPGW cables. Since 2000 many Russian companies have been trying to settle OPGW production, or to produce such cable from abroad materials but none of these plans were brought to the end. We became the pioneer in this field, having bought and installed the whole set of equipment for OPGW producing:

- line for producing steel loose tubes with incorporating optical fibers inside
- stranding and armoring line
- wire-drawing and aluminum claded steel wire producing line

The first decade of 2006 is famous for settling and starting OPGW production. Our productive capacity allows us to satisfy the requirements of Russian power engineering and big telecommunication companies.

As additional activity Saranskkabel-Optika manufactures stretch (package) films: food and industrial. The new workshop and stretch-producing line started in 2005. Being made on modern equipment stretch films meets very strict quality standards.
